Burgundy Trip Highlight #1: Tasted & Recommended! A Rising Star of White Burgundy - Joseph Colin

Another amazing tasting here in Burgundy of Joseph Colin's productions. We tasted a couple of his wines last year and had another fabulous experience this week with Joseph's new productions that we would love you to experience too especially if you are a lover of white Burgundy! Joseph Colin is definitely a producer you should start following. Son of the honored white winemaker Marc Colin and brother of the rising star Pierre-Yves Colin of Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, Joseph started working fulltime at his father's domaine at the mere age of 19 in 2003 and worked with his younger siblings Damien and Caroline to manage his father's domaine after his brother Pierre-Yves left to start up his own domaine (which is widely successful in recent years). After 13 years of leading the Marc Colin domine, Joseph decided to start producing his own wines as well in 2016 in which he started with producing three wines - Compendium, Sur le Sentier du Clou and En Remilly. Since 2017, he has productions from a total of 7 hectares across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and St Aubin and makes an astonishing 17 different cuvees, including Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru which his brother Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey also produces but which Joseph has a slightly friendlier pricing. Given the length of time he spent learning his craft at Domaine Marc Colin, he has developed into a confident winemaker. He always aims to develop wine at its purest and he does not follow a standard recipe but will adapt to each wine. Joseph's wines are generally precise, pure and offer fresh acidity with crystalline definition. Here today we are happy to present to you a parcel offer of a selection of 6 wines from Joseph Colin at some of the world's lowest prices#. All tasted ourselves with detailed wine notes below. Due to the limited production, it is not easy to find - hardly able to get several different cuvees at once - so we strongly urge you to get your hands on these while they are available! -
