Philipponnat Clos des Goisses is the one of the best-kept secrets in Champagne – a single vineyard plot which spreads over 5.5 hectares, with around 70% growing Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. The plot of vineyard is separated into 16 individual plots with different ages of vines. It is unique compared to any other single vineyards in Champagne as it is situated on an extremely steep slope, and is south-facing making the fruits, hence the wines produced, extra fruity and rich in flavour. Dosage is kept low around 4-5g/l to reflect this terroir-driven Champagne. With the unique qualities of this Champagne, it has a serious position among Champagne connoisseurs and sommeliers.
We have a parcel arrived in stock yesterday – a precious parcel of Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 1992 and this is worth the attention from all champagne lovers who are looking for something special. We could not refuse to pop a bottle yesterday and this is showing extremely well! Comparing it against other single vineyard cuvees such as Krug Clos du Mesnil and Krug Clos d'Ambonnay which are now sold at sky-rocketed prices, Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 1992 gives drinkers a much more cheaper option to explore the uniqueness of a single terroir champagne at the perfect drinking age. There are last 48 bottles ready physically in stock at only HK$1,780 per bottle if you buy 3 bottles or above before 9th Nov 2018 (Friday) (next best price listed in the world is HK$2,505 per bottle#).
We love this Champagne and are delighted to offer:

Deeper colour than most. Tingly exciting nose. Extremely zesty, tight and electric. Very fine with a refreshing green streak. Particularly complete and perfect to drink now. Jancis Robinson
96 pts Burgundy Cave
Medium Gold and very fine bubbles. A developing nose with solid fruit components which are still youthful now. Showing ripe lemon citrus fruits, grapefruit, passion fruits, mango and pineapple. There are apple tart as well! It was served in decanter and it keeps changing in the first 60 minutes, putting up more mineral touches which I can imagine it like a top crus from Meursault, a creamy, intense and well-polished champagne. A champagne to make drinkers smile from first sip until the last.
