While most Champagnes are consumed when they are young, there is absolutely no doubt that Champagne can age. There would likely be less bubbles in a 15 – 20 years old Non-Vintage Champagne, but they gain in body, character and have a complex profile that is impressive and can never been found in any other wines with similar aging period. The fact is, most of the Champagnes are opened "pre-maturely" and therefore not many can say how wonderful a bottle of Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial NV when it's 10 years old.
