Produced by the same team behind the mighty Salon (the Champagne widely-agreed to be the greatest of all Champagnes and one of the most collectible and expensive wines), Delamotte Blanc de Blancs is one of the top recommendations for people who want to experience how classic a Blanc de Blancs Champagne could be. Having crafted by the same winemakers of Salon, Didier Depond and Michel Fauconnet, Delamotte therefore is a very interesting proposition. We are delighted to have sourced a parcel of this excellent insider Champagne, the sensational Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 2007 at an incredible price of just HK$420 per bottle.
Delamotte's 2007 has received a lot of praises from the critics. Galloni described it to be "deep, fleshy and seductive", Suckling said its "depth and drive are impressive" and Stephan Reinhardt found it "stunning".
A fantastic Champagne drinking well now and over the next few years, we are confident this Delamotte Blanc de Blanc 2007 will be a great bottle that you will like -

92 points Antonio Galloni Delamotte’s 2007 Blanc de Blancs is deep, fleshy and seductive, with lovely textural depth and nuance throughout. The 2007 is a relatively soft, open-knit Delamotte that will drink well upon release. I especially admire the wine's sense of balance and overall proportion, two of the many qualities that give the 2007 its considerable appeal. (Jun 2016) www.vinous.com Drink 2016-2027
93 points James Suckling Very handy grilled almonds and savory nutty aromas here. This has a wealth of lemon citrus, chalky notes, lemon pith, gentle white pepper and immense freshness - really striking. The palate's smoothly honed with a little glazed peach and lemon butter, plus grapefruit citrus too. The depth and drive is impressive. Long and dry. Drink now or up to five years.
