Salon is one of the most highly-demanded, aexclusive and classiest Champagnes in the world. Little known is that its sister company and neighbour, Delamotte, gets first refusal on the grapes used to produce the Champagnes so you can imagine what level of quality Delamotte could deliver.
Delamotte Collection is considered a mystical Blanc de Blancs champagne that is never easily found. It has a small production, long lees aging and comes from the best Chardonnay grapes from Delamotte (or Salon). It only produces at best vintages - only 4 vintages (1991, 1999, 2000 and 2002) have been produced over the last 30 years. Its 1999 vintage received a much higher score than Salon 1999 on Cellar Tracker, a public wine scoring website, in which Delamotte 1999 has an average score of 96.3pts whereas Salon has 93.8pts (Source: http://www.cellartracker.com/notes.asp?iWine=1838353). At less than half the price of a Salon 1999 (valued at HK$3,000), we think Delamotte 1999 is a great Champagne that one should try, maybe best even to drink side by side with a Salon 1999 if you have such a chance - wouldn't you think so?
Today we are very excited to be able to offer this bottle of Delamotte 1999 at a special price for your consideration, only HK$1,150 from now til Sunday 15th October -

92 pts Antonio Galloni
A late-release from the Delamotte, the 1999 Blanc de Blancs Collection is a gorgeous Champagne for drinking now and over the next decade or two. Extended time on the lees has given the 1999 much of its texture and overall nuance. Honey, chamomile, hazelnut, dried herbs and apricots form an attractive fabric of scents, aromas and textures. Still quite young, the 1999 has enough freshness to drink well for many years. The 1999 is made in an especially big, phenolic style for Delamotte.
Arrives in 1-2 weeks. Subject to final confirmation.
Delivery is free of charge for orders above HK$3,000; otherwise a HK$80 fee per delivery applies.
