Madame Lalou-bize Leroy has been one of the top figures in Burgundy for many years. Her perfectionist approach to the vineyard as well as the estate has led to the creation of remarkably incredible wines across their owned vineyards (labelled "Domaine Leroy") and sourced grapes (labelled "Maison Leroy") year after year. Wine Critics have not been shy to confirm her status in the region - Robert Parker said she “stands virtually alone at the top of Burgundy’s quality hierarchy”, while Clive Coates MW commented that Leroy is "the greatest estate in Burgundy". While they produce both reds and whites, the Domaine-produced whites only appear under d'Auvenay or only for their Aligote. Other whites are produced under Maison Leroy but are just as good as their Domaine wines as Madame Leroy only chooses the best vineyards and grapes in disregard of cost. Production is minuscule across the board and due to its global popularity, their wines are generally hard to source, let alone back vintages, especially their 1er Cru whites which are not produced every year.
Today we are pleased to present a very rare opportunity to enjoy a readily drinking white from this top producer in Burgundy - Maison Leroy Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot 1er Cru 2010 - which has been packed in original cases and stored professionally since release. We are now offering this at a special price of as low as HK$2,550 per bottle if you purchase 6 bottles or above. This is excellently priced and will be extremely hard to find once these are gone! -
