Spirits by Comte de Vogue! Marc de Bourgogne and Fine de Bourgogne: Experience Another Burgundy

Marc de Bourgogne and Fine de Bourgogne are special spirits produced in Burgundy with raw materials that remain after wine production. Many winemakers in Burgundy collect the seeds, grape skins and stems after vinification to use for distilling, which are then matured in oak barrels that were usually used for maturing wine before, to produce an elegant, smooth spirit that is similar to cognac but with the soul of Burgundy.

We are delighted to offer a wonderful Marc de Bourgogne and Fine de Bourgogne from the historic Comte de Vogue who is the largest owner of the beautiful Le Musigny Grand Cru and also holds some fascinating plots in Les Amoureuses 1er Cru, Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru and Chambolle-Musigny. Marc de Bourgogne is distilled from the grape skins and pips, while Fine de Bourgogne distilled from the unused lees and wine after bottling. A Fine de Bourgogne is generally more subtle and less full-bodied than a Marc de Bourgogne but they are both beautiful spirits and are always a joy to have a bottle at home to finish a meal. With alcohol contents at approximately 42%, the bottles can be kept for a relatively long time. A must-have bottle for every Burgundy lover to explore another side of Burgundy –
