A domaine which offers amazing wines at superb prices, Dupont-Tisserandot's wines are often sold out quickly whenever we offer them out. Winehog's Steen Ohman had commented that Dupont-Tisserandot "deserves more awareness from the Burgundy drinkers - this is fine red Burgundy". Sadly, as the domaine owner has no children to inherit their vineyards, they sold their vines to Domaine Faiveley in 2013 so 2012 is the very last vintage of wines created under their label.
Offered earlier in October, the Dupont-Tisserandot Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 2012 was a smashing and we are pleased to be able to secure the last parcel available. Coming directly from the domaine, this parcel offers perfect provenance. It was awarded 90-92pts by Allen Meadows who said that this bottle is "a classically-styled Cazetiers", and scored 93pts by Wine Spectator.
At only HK$565 per bottle, you will see the amazing value it offers if you compare it to the same wine produced by Armand Rousseau - same score by Allen Meadows but at only 19% of their price -
This has just stepped into its ideal drinking window so you can enjoy this as soon as it arrives! If you missed the chance last time, now is your last chance to secure these bottles and these are the very last availability of the Cazetiers 2012 so be quick to let us know if you'd like a few -

90-92pts Allen Meadows
A ripe yet very fresh deeply pitched nose speaks of game, underbrush and wild dark berry aromas that are liberally laced with plenty of Gevrey style earth. There is some wood present on the intense, detailed and beautifully mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration before culminating in a robust, powerful and beautifully persistent finish. This is a classically styled Cazetiers that should reward a decade or so of cellaring.
93pts Wine Spectator
A rich version, this savory red evokes cherry, blackberry, beet, black currant, smoke and tobacco notes. Dense yet supple in texture, with a firm underlying structure and a compact finish. The long aftertaste suggests tar and iron accents. Best from 2018 through 2029.
