If you have visited Burgundy before and have walked between Chambertin and Clos de Beze, there is this old farm house in Clos de Beze that is owned by Domaine Pierre Damoy. The Domaine has been in the family for five generations and the oldest vines were planted in 1920. They are the largest owner in Clos de Bèze with a gorgeous 5.36-hectare parcel, selling a portion of their grapes to a few domaines and keeping the rest to produce the wine under their own label. Their Clos de Bèze shouldn’t be overlooked in your Burgundy wine hunt as Pierre Damoy produces some of the fuller-bodied, most extensive and complex Clos de Bèze but at only a significant fraction in price of that from Armand Rousseau.
Today we are pleased to offer Pierre Damoy's Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2007 which is only HK$1,600 per bottle and ready to drink now! This was awarded with 92pts by Allen Meadows and praised to be "a wine of style and grace". Only limited quantities available, be quick to let us know if you are interested -

Here the nose offers a small but clear step up in elegance with a wonderfully spicy and ripe aromatic profile of red, blue and black pinot fruit, underbrush and a touch of forest floor that can also be found on the equally spicy, pure, full and delicious big-bodied flavors that possess excellent power and verve and this sense of drive flows through to the cool, long, dusty and sappy finish. A wine of style and grace with impressive material that is built to age over the next decade.
