Chambertin Clos de Beze from Hudelot Patrick is not a well-known name among the Burgundy fans, however we were very impressed in a tasting session during our recent visit to Burgundy.
Chambertin Clos de Beze is an outstanding Grand Cru and a bottle of the benchmark Armand Rousseau could easily cost more than HK$10,000 a bottle. Together with Chambertin, they are the heart of Gevrey vineyard, and believed to be the heaviest and most powerful expression of Pinot Noir with undeniable ageing potential.
We were able to source the latest release of Hudelot Patrick Chambertin Clos de Beze 2008. It has lied in the cellar from 2010 and only released very recently. We are excited to offer this at an amazing price - only HK$838 per bottle!
Hudelot Patrick Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru 2008
HK$858 per bottle (In case of 6*75cl)
Black cherries, dark fruits and earthy note with herbal finish. The Clos de Beze gives a good persistency with solid and ripe tannin, good expression of the Beze. Approachable now and go very well in the next 10 years. Superb value.
